With the enactment of Tax Act of Bhutan, 2022, sales tax and customs duty of close to 142 goods have been reduced; with the aim to ease inflationary pressure in the market. As a result, market prices of different types of cereals, pulses, cooking oil, milk powder, agricultural spare parts, and seeds are expected to correspondingly decrease.
