The office is pleased to publish the Market Surveillance Report for Wangdue Phodrang Dzongkhag. Major markets in Wangdue Phodrang Dzongkhag were inspected over a period of 10 days starting from November 15, 2023, with the support of Bhutan Standards Bureau (BSB) and the Bhutan Food and Drug Authority (BFDA).
The primary objective of the inspection was to ensure that business firms comply with the market standards as per the Consumer Protection Act, (2012) and CPRR (2015) for the protection and benefit of consumers.
