The office is pleased to publish the Market Surveillance Report for Haa and Paro Dzongkhag. Major markets in the two Dzongkhags were inspected over a period of 14 days starting from March 5, 2024, with the support of Bhutan Food and Drug Authority (BFDA), Paro.
The primary objective of the inspection was to ensure that business firms comply with the market standards as per the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 and Consumer Protection Rules and Regulations, 2015 for the protection and benefit of consumers.
