A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Bhutan and Bangladesh on ‘Technical Cooperation in Consumer Protection’ on March 25, 2024 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This MoU aims to resolve consumer issues of both the countries. The MoU will also strengthen technical cooperation in consumer protection and institutional relationship between the Competition & Consumer Affairs Authority (CCAA), Bhutan and the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP), Bangladesh. The MoU was signed on Bhutan’s behalf by the Hon’ble Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Commerce & Employment (MOICE) during the State Visit of His Majesty The King to Bangladesh from March 25, to March 28, 2024.
